Gauge West Apartments is a three-building modular workforce housing community located in Durango. Developed by Four Points Funding with FCI Constructors serving as the general contractor, the project utilized prefabricated modules manufactured by Guerdon to deliver 89 apartment units efficiently and at scale.

The modules were constructed off-site in Boise, Idaho, with the final of 126 modules coming offline in February 2023. On-site assembly progressed rapidly, allowing the community to be occupied by August 2023—meeting a tight schedule to open ahead of Labor Day. The development offers a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments ranging from approximately 639 to over 1,000 square feet, designed to support full-time employees living and working in the Durango area.

The apartments feature modern interiors including 9-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances, and wood-style laminate flooring, while the architectural design reflects the surrounding regional character and maximizes views. By leveraging modular construction, the project achieved a high level of quality control, reduced material waste, and meaningful cost and schedule efficiencies—helping expand much-needed workforce and attainable housing options for the local community.
