Overview: Guerdon is seeking qualified applicants for experience Plumbers for new construction of commercial and multi-family housing.  The position will primarily be responsible for guiding and assisting staff with installation of plumbing systems and equipment into modules. Perform tasks involving physical labor for construction of modular units. May operate hand and power tools of all types, mechanical hoists, measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare work area, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, or repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems, according to specification or plumbing codes.
• Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• Cutting and threading pipe to required angles.
• Assembling and installing valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals and non-metals.
• Joining pipes by use of screws, bolts, fittings and solder

Requirements:

• Ability to organize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to comprehend schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications required by our client.
• Compliance to all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work overtime hours when necessary.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
