Randy Duggan and Housing Hope team members break ground at their new Twin Lakes Landing project in Marysville, WA on Oct. 28, 2016.

Housing Hope broke ground Oct. 28 on their Twin Lakes Landing project in Marysville, WA. The 50-unit development, Housing Hope’s biggest project to date, will provide a safe home for homeless and low-income families.

Randy Duggan, Guerdon’s Northwest Business Development Manager, wielded a golden shovel at the ceremony. He has worked with the Housing Hope team, architects, engineers, financing arm, and everyone else involved to help see this project through.

“This is an exciting day. Everyone involved has worked hard to bring this project to fruition.” Duggan commented at the ceremony, “The use of modular construction in a project like this means the total project timeline is shortened, the quality of the product will be superior, and the low-income or currently homeless families in need of a home will have a roof over their head months sooner than would otherwise be possible.”

The project is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2017.
