OVERVIEW: 

Guerdon is seeking qualified Revit Drafters for our internal Design & Engineering Department. The position will be responsible for producing Framing, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Drawings for our manufacturing facility. Projects will include wood framed Multi-Family, Hospitality, and Light Commercial throughout the Western US and Canada. This is a great introduction to the Design & Engineering process with opportunities for growth throughout the company. All work will be completed in the current release of Revit. The candidate must be able to work in a team atmosphere with other design professionals and the construction workforce. Must be able to work in an extremely fast-paced assembly line environment and possess the ability to handle multiple priorities at one time.

 

Responsibilities/Learned skills will include:

  • Use of Revit for BIM modeling
  • An accountable attitude with a commitment to accuracy
  • Good people skills, good attitude, and the ability to operate as part of a team

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • CAD training or experience- Revit training a plus
  • Preference is given to construction experience

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and reach, stoop, kneel.
  • Light to moderate lifting is required.
  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
  • Ability to work in a shared space.
